Grant Swart and his family have been intimately involved in the pet industry since 1989, and together with a dedicated team, constitute Robalon Enterprises today. Formally established in 1998, Robalon Enterprises is the leading manufacturer and distributor of natural pet products available in discerning and dedicated pet stores throughout South Africa.

Since inception, the mission of the business has been to focus on relevant local research and development of effective, affordable products and excellence in service to the South African pet and veterinary industry. Consistent emphasis is placed on upholding the quality of products and reliability of service with humility and integrity, rather than maintaining a falsely impressive image. Extensive, hands-on experience and knowledge of the products, the requirements of the animals, the customers and the consumers, remain of ultimate importance.

Not simply a matter of economics

Robalon Enterprises was born out of, and is maintained by its proprietors’ passion for the pet industry, its people, their businesses and their pets. The business continues to expand at a natural pace by catering to the specific requirements and developing trends of the pet industry, with the emphasis on producing effective and affordable products. While many cheaply produced and largely ineffective imported products continue to flood the pet industry, Robalon Enterprises’ uniquely structured research and development program, coupled with the genuine concern and expertise of its personnel, makes it possible to provide high quality locally manufactured products, which are best suited to local conditions.
